Hannah Bird, retail apprentice “Being able to gain a qualification while doing the job you love is brilliant. You can sell holidays and make a customer’s day, while working towards an official qualification. During my apprenticeship I have gained a lot of knowledge, experience and, most importantly, confidence. My apprenticeship has taught me to be proactive, and as a result, I help train new members of staff. “I am looking forward to the future, because I can see my career progressing to a management position one day. The best thing about completing my apprenticeship is knowing that I not only have an official qualification, but also a permanent full-time job where I can continue doing what I love.”
