“I currently work in Camp America’s London office, in the marketing department. I loved my course – it was full of people with a similar, genuine interest in travel, and lecturers took their time to get to know us and tailor the course to our interests. “What surprised me


was the opportunities the course offers. I studied International Travel and Tourism Management, which covers everything from events management and the cruise industry to airport management. “What appealed the


most was that I could bring my passion to the course. I was able to spend every summer working with


Camp America, developing my skills but most importantly developing confidence both on the course and at camp. “Before joining the


course, I was torn between going into education or something within travel. Upon completion of my first summer with Camp America and my first few weeks on the course, I realised I could combine the two. “The toughest part of


the course genuinely was deciding what field to go down – there were so many routes to choose from. My best advice is to always go with your gut and say yes to new opportunities.”
