An exciting initiative at Jobcentre Plus aims to create thousands of opportunities for hospitality jobseekers
Hospitality Works is an exciting national initiative, led by the British Hospitality Association and the Department for Work and Pensions, taking place through Jobcentre Plus from February 2018. The initiative aims to raise awareness of opportunities and vacancies in the hospitality sector. The 2017 campaign was endorsed
by Fred Sirieix, maître d’ of Galvin at Windows and the presenter of Channel 4’s First Dates programme. Sirieix said: “The hospitality industry offers fantastic career prospects and opportunities. It has created exciting jobs for millions across the country and I know the Hospitality Works campaign will inspire wonderful careers.” More than 6,000 jobseekers moved
into work as a result of opportunities offered by the employers who participated in the 2017 Hospitality Works programme.
