Filmmakers often storyboard their film in advance of shooting any scenes. This means they draw out what scenes they want to shoot, shot by shot, so they have a brief to show the camera people, the lighting directors, as well as the actors, of how they want the shots to look.
Study this storyboard for a sequence of scenes from this clip in The Karate Kid. Identify the different types of shots and angles the director wants depicted in each scene. Write one-line descriptions of the shot wanted, which would be inserted below each image in the storyboard.
