Working in pairs, do an improvised drama (where you make it up as you go along). Speaker 1 must reveal a surprising fact to Speaker 2. Speaker 2 must react to this, and the dialogue will continue from there. Your surprising fact doesn’t need to be true, but if you do make it up, be prepared and have thought about it in detail. Here are some useful questions and sentence starters to help you create an interesting dialogue.

How did that happen? What was that like?/Tell me more about … What was the best/worst part? How did it affect you? How do you feel about it now?
