One of the dominant themes in ‘The Hero of Drumree’ is courage, or a lack thereof. Write a speech around the following statement: ‘Young people must have courage in their lives today.’
Pick a story you have studied that has an exemplary (excellent) plot climax. Map out the plot structure using the rollercoaster analogy. Sometimes you might have dips before you get to the big climax. If you feel there are moments of high or low action/tension, make sure you mark them as well.
