Find some other quotes about friendship. Make up a saying or quote of your own about friendship.
Now write your quotes out nicely, decorate them and make a collage with them. You might like to add photos of your friends to the collage. Some other information you could put on your collage:

Imagine you have been lost at sea with your best friend. You are on a lifeboat trying to find land or someone who can rescue you. On the next page is a list of items that you may keep on the boat.
Read the list carefully and choose ten items which you wish to keep. Rank the ten in order of importance (with ‘1’ being the most important item).
Pair up with a classmate and compare your lists. 5 MIN
Now join another group. Share and discuss your lists. Then agree on a final ten items to keep, ranking them in order of importance again.

Everyone in the group must have a responsibility in this discussion. Possible roles are: a) A person to keep the discussion focused, monitor the time and make sure that everyone gets a chance to speak (chairperson)
b) A person to note down the group’s decisions (minute-taker) c) A person to feed back the decisions made to the rest of the class (reporter)
d) A person to check all details are correct before you finish, i.e. that there are only ten items on the list, in the order the group have agreed on, as well as three extra items (secretary)
