Industry gathers again for PCHi
Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi) came to a close following a 3-day run, marking the industry’s first on-site event in China since the pandemic struck, and the halls buzzed with activity as lively discussions took place across the floor. Over 26,000 trade
professionals gathered at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center from 24-26 March, to discover the latest ingredients and technologies presented by 665 exhibitors representing 30 countries and regions. In addition, more than 200 conference sessions, presentations, and events were held at the various knowledge-sharing platforms scattered throughout the venue. Clean beauty featured
prominently as the theme for this edition, with sustainable innovations and green cosmetics concepts spotted in several special zones, as well as at numerous exhibitors’ stands. As regular business activities and MICE events resume, companies begin to enjoy the benefits of on-site meetings as opposed to being restricted to virtual ones. While the in-person PCHi
experience carried on, the Organisers also took care to engage the international crowd who were only able to attend via virtual platforms. The PCHi Guided Tour Live Broadcast and International Hybrid Networking Zone were two such initiatives that addressed the needs of both exhibitors and visitors this year.
