The Fr O’Neills girls
played after a fantastic campaign the u12 coun- ty final on Saturday 23th in Ballinlough against an evenly matched Ballygar- van. However it was not to be our day, loosing out by a single point 3.3 to 3.2.
Every single player put their heart and soul into it. It was a thrilling game that kept the large attendance on edge. This was a thrill- ing game that went down to the wire. A few strange decisions that went against us was the difference es- pecially when the full time whistle was blown with the ball in the air heading for the Ballygarvan goal. It was heartbreaking stuff, but this bunch of girls playing in their first final will come back from back from this, a great bunch of players. Only one team can win and today its Balygarvans
day and well done to them. Well done to our own
Grace Rooney taking home Player of the Match and it was truly deserved. Thanks to the mentors Ray, Anne, Bridget Theresa and Donal and above all thank you to the girls and their families who truly are hav- ing a remarkable year.

ball Championship Fr. O’Neills 2:09 v Killeagh / Itas 1:04 We travelled to Kil-
leagh for this East B semi-final tie on Friday week last. We played very well
to (Darie, Garrett,
Sean, Michael, James and James) the best of luck as they move up into the u16 ranks. We would also like to thank all the u12 players who trained and played with us throughout the year. This years u14 team has improved greatly
in the first half leading 1:05 to 0:00 at the short whistle. We got some fine scores in that first half Jake Shine with 1:01, John Millerick , Conor Lee, and Peter Hassett with the other scores. Our defence was very solid with Sam Shana- han, Brian Kenneally and David O’Neill very prominent. Killeagh / Itas got an early point in the second half and this was followed by a goal. Peter Hassett and Mathew Cody drove our
