Located between Harbor East and historic Fell’s Point, Harbor Point is set on the former industrial site of the old Allied Signal chromium plant property on Baltimore’s waterfront. It is being transformed into three-million-square feet of mixed-use devel- opment featuring office space, residential units, retail, a hotel and public space that includes 9.5-acres of waterfront parks, and a promenade along the water’s edge. Since early 2017, retailers have begun filling the building’s 40,000-square foot ground level retail space, including: West Elm, CorePower Yoga, Ceremony Coffee Rosters, and Honeygrow.


The new hotel, Canopy Baltimore | Harbor Point from Canopy by Hilton, is coming soon. Hilton's newest hotel brand, it will feature a first-floor waterfront lobby with the rest of the proper- ty occupying the top four floors of the 12-story Wills Street Wharf office building. The 156-room hotel will feature a restau- rant with an outdoor terrace offering views of the Inner Harbor.


Harbor Point’s newest addition is dubbed “the Sandlot”- a har- borfront oasis that debuted over the summer - encompassing


30,000-square feet of open space used for outdoor dining, recreation, live performances, family-friendly games, and com- munity outreach events. The site is part of a 4.5-acre peninsu- la that separates the Inner Harbor basin from the Outer Harbor, and features sweeping views in both directions.


A joint venture of Beatty Development Group, the master developer of Harbor Point, and Foodshed, the development arm of the iconic Woodberry Kitchen family of restaurants from Spike and Amy Gjerde and Corey Polyoka, the food compo- nent of the Sandlot is designed to build and develop hospitali- ty projects for “people who care about our food system.”


The Hotel at the University of Maryland Hotel in nearby College Park recently opened on campus to fulfill the need to accom- modate tens of thousands of visitors every year. The project is the cornerstone to the university’s vision of encouraging the redevelopment of the existing downtown College Park busi- ness district, and bolstering the revitalization of College Park as a top university town with a top research university.


The hotel’s amenities include a rooftop event space, multiple outdoor terraces, 297 guest rooms with executive level and premium suites, 43,000-square feet of meeting space and four restaurant options.
