“We also are seeing new ways to use technology that we have been accustomed to working with over the last few years,” he continues. “For instance, using very high-resolution LED panels as video displays and also as scenic elements blending in with the rest of the production design. Or using a standard wireless microphone inside of a ‘Catch Box’ that can be tossed around the room like a football during interactive segments with the audience."
Showers notes that Advanced Staging is able to get the most out of the technologies they use for meet- ings and events because they provide frequent technology demonstrations at their office for clients, showcasing new technologies and their creative approaches to using them. This demonstrates to the client more precisely the ways in which they can utilize different technologies as part of their events.
“We also bring our technology to our clients,” explains Showers. “For example, with our mobile pre- visualization studio where we can provide real-time lighting and video demonstrations during the course of a projects’ development. We also strive for very early engagement in a project so we can maximize our knowledge and best contribute to its success."
As an organization, he notes, Advanced Staging maintains continuous industry training for its technical staff.
