Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitors Center, a 139,000- square foot state-of-the-art facility, is the only privately owned and operated visi- tor center in the National Park System. “We not only have a distinctive museum, we offer guests interactive opportuni- ties,” adds Debbie Joyner, facility events and rentals manager for the property. “Many people mount an event in one of the nearby hotels and choose our site for grand opening or closing programs. We offer on-site catering and have two event planners.”


Among the many reasons this museum tops planners’ lists are self- or docent- guided tours, A New Birth of Freedom film, interactive exhibits and the Cyclorama, which is one of only two in the U.S.


“We offer exceptional customer service, as well,” punctuates Tracy Cromeans, facility event associate for the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum. “We listen and go above and beyond to deliver. Someone stays with the group throughout the event to ensure it is the best experience.”


Earlier this year, the Hub City Model A Ford Club hosted a national MARC meet for more than 500 members at the museum. The group was greeted by his- torians/actors portraying Abraham Lincoln, Robert E. Lee and his wife Mary Anna. Guests took in the exhibits,
