“Phoenixville Foundry, another gem, is the largest event venue in Chester County,” she continues. “Once the home of Phoenix Iron and Steel Company, it balances components of iron and steel production with modern lines and lighting.”


Among other ways to present event guests with the wonderment that defines Chester County are: Brandywine River Museum, Historic Yellow Springs, the Chaddsford and Kreutz wineries, or one of 11 charming B&Bs, such as the Faunbrook Bed and Breakfast.

CCCVB is available to help arrange transportation, and provide a welcome gift, goodie bags and lodging informa- tion. “We often like to counsel planners to put together a partnership,” continues Babcock. “In downtown West Chester, for example, book Uptown Theater or the Chester County Historical Society for an event, and guests can stay at Hotel Warner. American Helicopter Museum and Education Center director of museum services and marketing, Robyn Morgan, certainly appreciates the CCCVB’s support. The museum opened in 1996 to serve as a lasting tribute to men and women who pioneered the develop- ment of rotary wing aircraft. It is a venue filled with adventure.
