“We’ve worked with dBTechnologies for some years and we are very happy with this brand. I’ve never had a better partner than dBTechnologies.”
and have superb components - in this case mainly RCF components our sister company - and many rigging features. In all modesty, we don’t have real competitors at the moment who can deliver this high technology level and especially not for this price / quality ratio.” A total of 16 K300 active 2-way speakers - dBTechnologies most powerful and compact cabinets in their class - have been installed on the two terraces, the cigar and whisky bar, and the communal areas. To complete the system there are a further 12 DVA T4 3-way active line array cabinets and two DVA S20 subwoofers installed at Cottage Club. The speakers are all active, which meant there was no need for additional amplification, and Patrick also felt there was simply no need for extra EQ or processor either, preferring to let the sound system shine on its own merit. These high quality, modern technology fixtures provide an eye catching focal point
for Cottage Club. Their compact and lightweight nature meant they were easy and simple to install inside the tent structure. The fixtures, like the speakers, were mounted on the pipe frame, which was custom made for Cottage Club by LorCo. The YPOC 250’s are equipped with 11 dichroic colour filters plus white, these can create a fast flowing rainbow effect. This feature allows maximum flexibility so the lighting can be adapted according to the act on stage. The GLP moving heads were supplied by its Belgium distributor, AED. The YPOC 250’s were accompanied by a total of 30 LED Par64 RGB generic fixtures, which added some subtle mood lighting. Patrick selected an Avolites Pearl 2004 lighting console to
