www.lycian.com LYCIAN | MODEL 1250KB

Lycian Stage Lighting’s newest offering is the Model 1250KB. It answers the need for a very bright tungsten followspot. While originally designed for use in high definition television where a stable, flicker free beam was required with a native 3300°K colour temperature, the 1250KB is bright enough for theatrical applications. The 1250KB utilises a twist to lock socket for easy and rapid lamp installation. Both the 1200W Philips Fast Fit and Osram Lok-It can be used. Features include trombone style variable focus optics, fine focus control, fader, a centre mounted automatic self-cancelling colour boomerang and top mounted iris control, as well as separate horizontal and vertical shutters. It’s finished in an attractive powder coated hammer tone finish. The 1250KB ships with a rugged three legged folding stand and integrated power supply.

MARTIN PROFESSIONAL | EC-10 www.martin.com

The EC-10 is a high performance 10mm pixel pitch LED display panel from Martin Professional that teams with Martin’s EC-20 to form a fully compatible EC family of LED displays that can be mixed and matched for ultimate design creativity. Featuring the same award-winning, lightweight and cable-free design for rapid deployment, the EC-10 is 100% compatible with the EC-20 in terms of colour, setup, curving, and control and processing, even accessories, allowing for seamless, mixed resolution visuals in one system. Using high efficiency Nichia LEDs, the EC-10 offers visual performance at the highest level. Pinpoint 48- bit colour processing ensures uncompromised colour depth at any brightness setting. Each pixel is colour and brightness calibrated for maximum colour and brightness uniformity and consistency from pixel to pixel and panel to panel. The EC-10 features a true IP65 protection rating, fully protected LEDs, and a wide operating temperature range for use in all types of indoor or outdoor environments. The integrated curving mechanics of the EC Series allow users to create curved screens while maintaining an accurate pixel pitch with no gaps between curved panels. The EC-10 is driven by Martin’s innovative and award-winning family of P3 system controllers.

OPTOCORE | MADI TRANSCEIVER www.optocore.com

In a world first, Optocore has implemented a groundbreaking transceiver for its DD2FR-FX optical MADI device, which accepts both Multi-Mode and Single- Mode fiber signals. As a result of this unique feature, the transceivers can connect to both Single Mode and Multi-Mode third party MADI link partners with the same multi-mode 50µm / 62,5µm cable. At the same time this represents a substantial cost-saving for customers. This initiative is consistent with Optocore’s policy to introduce more efficient, versatile products with expanded capacity, and reduced cost and carbon footprint. In the case of the new DD2FR-FX, this required a re-engineering of Optocore’s previous MADI network device in order to enable it to function within Optocore’s new Cat5-based SANE environment, with its more powerful 2Gbit fiber network.

OUTLINE | GTO-DF www.outline.it

The GTO family continues to grow, as Outline has unveiled the new GTO-DF (down-fill). This is an element that is mechanically compatible with GTO and conceived and designed with a sole aim: providing audio coverage for the first rows of the audience in every type of event at which GTO systems are used. From the point of view of design, the GTO-DF is definitely eye-catching, with its aperture of 120° gradually flaring out downwards. As opposed to the GTO, which has ten loudspeakers, this element uses six or four 8-inch mid-woofers and two 3-inch compression drivers.
