MMC - mulino modulare continuo
Sono già passati più di dieci anni dal lancio sul mercato della macchina che ha rivoluzionato il reparto di preparazione impasti: l’MMC, il mulino modulare continuo Sacmi. Frutto di anni di ricerche ed esperienze sul campo, MMC si è imposto da subito come la soluzione più avanzata e conveniente per la macinazione continua nell’industria ceramica. Gli MMC sono composti da una serie di cilindri meccanicamente intercambiabili e motorizzati separatamente che, grazie alle personalizzazioni di Sacmi, permettono di ottimizzare tutte le fasi della macinazione.
Il sistema di connessione tra i moduli, brevettato, consente un funzionamento continuo e senza perdite di barbottina con ogni tipo di prodotto ceramico, senza l’utilizzo di macchine intermedie che aumenterebbero i consumi e le manutenzioni di reparto. L’efficienza degli MMC è superiore fino al 15% rispetto ai mulini continui tradizionali, grazie alla personalizzazione dei rivestimenti e delle cariche dei singoli moduli, che
poi adattano separatamente e in modo automatico la propria velocità di rotazione alle caratteristiche del prodotto nelle varie fasi di processo. Tutti i moduli sono progettati e dimensionati per il funzionamento con cariche al 100% in allumina sinterizzata; Sacmi è in grado di studiare le cariche più idonee per ottenere le migliori performance con ogni tipo di impasto. Oltre 400 moduli installati in oltre 180 linee MMC confermano l’alta affidabilità di Sacmi nella
fornitura di impianti di macinazione continua in ceramica.
MMC - continuous modular mill
More than ten years ago Sacmi launched on the market a machine that revolutionised body preparation departments: the MMC, the continuous modular mill.
The outcome of years of research and in-the-field experience, the MMC was an immediate success as it was the most advanced, economical continuous grinding solution available to the ceramic industry.
MMC mills consist of a series of mechanically interchangeable, separately motor-driven cylinders that, thanks to Sacmi-provided personalisation, allows optimisation of every single stage of the grinding process.
The patented module-to-module connection system allows continuous operation without any slip loss, whatever the ceramic product type; moreover, there are no intermediate machines, which would increase both consumption and required maintenance. MMC efficiency is up to 15% higher than that seen on traditional mills; this is achieved by personalising the linings and pebble loads of the modules, which then adapt their rotation speed automatically and separately according to the product characteristics during the various stages of the process.
All modules are designed and sized for operation with 100% sintered alumina grinding media; Sacmi carries out in-depth analysis to identify the most suitable grinding media loads and so obtain the best performance whatever the body type. Over 400 modules installed in over 180 MMC lines clearly demonstrate that Sacmi is a reliable and innovative supplier of continuous grinding systems.
