Multipack - linea di confezionamento flessibile per la fabbrica 4.0
Multipack è il sistema innovativo di packaging sviluppato da System per la realizzazione di confezioni in cartone per piastrelle di ampiezza fino a 120 x 180 cm. La nuova linea di imballaggio è composta da un modulo centrale attorno al quale sono collocati 8 magazzini cartone. Grazie alla capienza di questi magazzini il sistema è in grado di poter lavorare a lungo in perfetta autonomia. I magazzini sono posizionati vicino al punto di presa e al prodotto, caratteristica che consente di realizzare fino a 10 confezioni personalizzate al minuto. Multipack è un processo di confezionamento studiato secondo i criteri più evoluti della lean manufacturing. La forma della scatola, la tipologia del prodotto da imballare (di prima, di seconda o di terza scelta) e la grafica da stampare sulla confezione, sono le tre direttrici che governano l’intero processo.
Multipack è una tecnologia che semplifica la gestione delle scorte di cartone grazie alla possibilità di potere personalizzare al momento la fustella neutra. I magazzini possono ospitare fustelle prestampate oppure fustelle neutre su cui la stampa viene applicata on demand dalla stampante digitale integrata. Le operazioni di realizzazione della confezione iniziano dalla console tattile Copilot (sviluppata da System Electronics), attraverso la quale l’operatore imposta le misure desiderate per i 4 lati dell’imballo. Dopo aver confermato le dimensioni della scatola, il sistema crea in pochi secondi il packaging intorno alla pila di piastrelle. Tra gli aspetti peculiari che rendono Multipack innovativo vi è la doppia protezione negli angoli a tutela del prodotto durante le operazioni di movimentazione e di trasporto. L’ultimo passaggio è rappresentato dalla stampa personalizzata in alta risoluzione. La portella laterale consente un facile e sicuro accesso agli operatori per gli interventi di manutenzione.
Multipack rispecchia un sistema di confezionamento all’avanguardia messo a punto dal dipartimento di Fine Linea di System, con l’obiettivo di offrire al mercato mondiale un processo avanzato di packaging, in grado di soddisfare le prestazioni e la flessibilità della produzione in un’ottica di lean manufacturing 4.0.

Multipack - flexible packaging line for factories 4.0
Multipack is a totally new system developed by System for the custom packaging, in cardboard, of tiles measuring up to 120 x 180 cm across. The new packaging line consists of a central module fitted with 8 storing racks for stacking cardboard. Thanks to the capacity of these storing racks, the machine can work for a very long time without any need for interruption.
The storing racks are positioned close to the grab point and the product to be packaged, making it possible to produce up to 10 personalised boxes per minute.
The Multipack packaging process has been designed in line with the most modern criteria for lean manufacturing. The entire process is steered according to the shape of the box, the type of product to be packaged (first, second or third choice) and any graphics to be printed on the box.
Multipack technology simplifies the management of cardboard supplies due to the possibility to personalise the blank sheets of cardboard as and when required. The storing racks can house pre-printed sheets of cardboard or blank sheets of cardboard, which can be printed on demand by the built-in digital printer.
The production process begins with the touch- screen control panel, Copilot (developed by System Electronics), which the machinist uses to set
the desired measurements of the 4 sides of the box: in just a few seconds then the system creates the box around the stack of tiles positioned on the cardboard. One of the original aspects that make Multipack so innovative is the double protection at the corners, which protects the contents during handling and transportation. The final phase consists in the high-resolution personalised printing. The inspection door at the side makes it easy and safe for the machinists to access the machine for maintenance operations. Multipack is a truly cutting-edge packaging system, fine- tuned by System’s End-of-Line department with the aim of offering the global market an advanced packaging process that can meet the levels of performance and flexibility from a perspective of lean manufacturing 4.0.
