ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS Diploma


If a career in the electrical industry, or other industries that rely on electrical installation skills, is what you want, this study programme is a great place to start. The content of the qualification is based around electrical construction and is ideal for you if you would like to work in the industry but do not have an apprenticeship.


A great start in the electrical industry


Units include Health and Safety, Environmental Protection Measures, Installation Methods and Procedures, Craft Skills and Science. You will also learn how to prepare for an interview and manage your study skills.


Your progress is assessed through a combination of practical assessments and written exams. All aspects of the course will be studied through both classroom-based theory sessions and practical-based workshop sessions.


Your study programme will include tutorial sessions and work experience. You will also study Maths and English if required.


ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS Diploma


This study programme is the natural progression for any student who has successfully completed Electrical Installations Level 1 and wants to build on their knowledge and skills. It is designed for anyone who would like to work in the electrical industry but does not have an apprenticeship.


Successful learners can progress to an apprenticeship


The programme includes Health and Safety, Theory and Technology, Methods Procedures and Requirements, Craft Skills and Science and Principles.
