All entrants must hold 4 GCSEs at grade E/2 or equivalent or above, preferably including Maths and English Language.

At the end of the one-year programme all learners are expected to have achieved GCSE Maths and GCSE English Language at grade 4, or show that they have been working towards improving their English and Maths by achieving an improvement to their previous grade.

Entry Level Study Programmes

For all learners joining Entry Level Study Programmes, there are no formal English and Maths entry requirements. Learners on these programmes will study English and Maths at an appropriate level to suit their ability.

A Levels are changing

The Government is in the process of reforming A Levels, so the content and assessment for some subjects may change. It won’t affect which A Levels you can study at Petroc, but we may need to adjust our entry requirements for certain subjects.
