cently Conna Indoor Bowls Club celebrated its 25th
Anniversary with

present club members, formers members, bowl- ing people from Cork who helped to get the club started in the early days and special guests etc.

1991, Dermot O’Leary, Fr. Denis Stritch, Tom Finn and Dave Feeney visited D.C.S. in Cork to see Indoor Bowls be- ing played for the first time. They
spoke to
Jack Lynch, Cork Zone Convener (I.I.B.A.),who gave them advice on the
sport and promised to arrange an exhibition of the game in Conna. From then on the club went
strength.
