players are now

conditioned into weekly matches and the team was taking a settled shape with Ebe Imoh, Alex Canty, Darragh Crowley and James O’Shaugnessy mak- ing up a solid back four. After a frustrating dis- Corinthians

ening the attack and turn- ing pressure into score-able chances. The first half started with Carrigaline to apply pressure Carrigtwohill’s left

operating on the right wing was a constant source of pain for Carrigaline with his incisive passing and su- perb crossing ability. By the mid-point in the

first half, Carrigtwohill had created a number of scoring opportunites with Ronan

Ymedi very close coming from a James

equaliser. And it came with just under 15 mins to go in the first half as James Moloney’s free kick went all the way in from his shot out on the far right as it sailed into the far left top corner giving the away keeper no chance in goal. A super strike

from the on Valley Rangers

in Pablo Park. The pitch was in good nick and both teams were well up for this game. The game was played at a high intensi- ty from the start and both sides gave supporters plen- ty to shout about over the 70 minutes. The first half began as

both sides battled hard for every ball from the off. But it was Valley who struck first thanks to a goal from their striker. Valleys tails were up but our lads re- sponded quick as ever as they went in search of an

captain!

This gave the lads a boost as they went in search of another goal and some ex- cellent solo work from Ryan Heaphy

saw him ghost

past a Valley defender and there was no stopping him as he went all on his own beating three or four men before finishing into the right hand corner giving the keeper no chance. HT Ramblers 2-1 Valley. The

to close the gap to two again. But our lads were determined and hungry for more goals as Josh again scored to make it five and Heaphy completed his hat- trick to make it six! And some solid defending from back four of Kyle, Lee, Conor and Taylor who were all outstanding made sure Valley didn’t

score second half be-

gan, and before Valley could even get settled Josh Fitzgerald and Ryan Hea- phy hit them with two early goals to make it four! Valley did respond well though as Tom Hartnett

scored

again and kept the deficit to four! As the midfield bat- tled for every ball through- out with Josh and Nadine both having fine games up top! A fantastic win for the squad and after speaking to captain Kian Carey who unfortunately is out in- jured said that he couldn’t be happier with the squads performance and is con- fident that they will go on and have every chance in the final against Kilworth. We’re back to St Colmans Park again this year, the home of LOI Side Cobh Ramblers and here we go

breakthrough would short- ly come and so it did when a trade mark cross from Anesh found Rob coming in from the left where he coolly finished into the bot- tom left corner. The

it’s the replay of last years under 13 Final. Kilworth will be looking for revenge as the Ramblers took the Cup home this time last year but the Ramblers will be going all out to retain the trophy and win a first ever club double in school- boy history! All roads lead to Cobh next Bank Holi- day Monday and we wish all the squad and manage- ment the very best of luck in the final. In what should be a cracking game of ball. Please show your support! Well done tonight and best of luck to all.

with an early goal by Ryan Heaphy things looked good early on but Valley came storming back into the

Evan Donnelly continued his scoring streak by finish- ing to the bottom right and there were other chances when Jack Nolan hit the post and Ronan was only

denied by a full stretch wonder-save from the Car- rigaline keeper when his pile driver from the edge penalty box was destined for the top left corner of the net. For all the good inter forwards a
