Championship draws throw up some interesting contests As usual pat of the

new season with the East Cork division well repre- sented in all bar one of the grades.


In senior hurling the meeting of Midleton and Carrigtwohill is an East Cork derby game while Bride Rovers will come up against defending champi-


ons Glen Rovers in their opening fixture, with the winner here facing Sars- fields. Youghal have drawn divisional side Duhallow, while in another all East Cork affair Killeagh will meet last year’s defeated finalist Erin’s Own. Divi- sional side Imokilly will


face Bishopstown in their opener. In next week’s issue we
