Gortroe Bazaar Outstanding Success FITZGERALD

Gortroe Hall was filled with seasonal gifts, books,
bric a brac, vegetables,
crafts and much more for the annual Bazaar which is always well supported. This year was no different
as people came, browsed, purchased and stayed for a chat. A superb draw was held live in the hall, with many of the winners pres- ent to hear their names called for the huge range of prizes on offer. A great day much en-
joyed by all. Well done to the organisers.

Pobalscoil Students, Family and Friends support Ailbhe Griffin’s Fundraising Quiz for Kolkata FITZGERALD

is one of four TY students of Pobalscoil na Tríonóide, Youghal who will be trav- elling to Kolkata (former-
ly Calcutta) in April 2017 for one week as part of the Hope Foundation Immer- sion Programme. Fund- raising is an essential part of this programme and at a Table Quiz held on Friday night last in Farrell’s Sum-

participating on the Im- mersion Programme are fully supported by The Hope Foundation, with a dedicated Group Lead- er, structured orientation
process and advice on fundraising every step of the way. Through achiev- ing ambitious fundraising targets, these young adults are an essential element of The Hope Foundation’s fundraising activities each year, and are directly re- sponsible for more than half of the charity’s annual fundraising which goes di- rectly to over 60 projects in Kolkata.
