Hugh Support for Youghal Scouts Annual Fundraising Bingo FITZGERALD

and Scout lovers flocking into the large hall in the
Walter Raleigh Hotel on Wednesday night last for the Annual Youghal Scouts Fundraising Bingo, the success of the event was guaranteed. There was
‘cash and sit beside’ prizes on all games, a Monster Raffle with superb prizes to be won, and the only real problem was finding extra tables and chairs to facili-
tate the large crowds who came along! Speaking with The
East Cork Journal Ned Brennan said they were delighted with the fan-
tastic crowds who turned up. “We are a voluntary non-profit organisation”, Ned said, “and all funds raised tonight will be put towards the upkeep of the
hall and the pur- chasing of equip- ment”.
He extended thanks to
everyone who helped in any way - number callers, the scouts themselves who worked hard selling tickets and making sure everyone
