AUDAC | XENO SERIES www.audac.eu

Audac has announced the launch of the Xeno Series, a 2-way loudspeaker series that consists of two different versions, the Xeno 6 and the Xeno 8. While both have a 1-inch dome tweeter, the XENO 6 version comprises a 6-inch mid / low frequency driver and the XENO 8 an 8-inch mid / low frequency driver. These 2-way loudspeakers are specifi cally designed for fi xed audio installations in modern environments. Audac believes the Xeno Series will offer improved convenience and functionality because of its revolving bracket. This design makes rotation in both horizontal and vertical way possible. In addition, the loud- speaker consists of an integrated protection system that avoids tweeter damaging when overload occurs.

CHAUVET | Q-SPOT 560-LED www.chauvetlighting.com

Chauvet has announced the Q-Spot 560-LED - the brightest moving yoke spot in the Q-Series. Featuring a lighter-than-average weight for its class, the fea- ture-rich Q-Spot 560-LED is a superb addition to any corporate rental house. Designed with the installation market in mind, Q-Spot 560-LED carries an ETLc certifi cation and delivers bright, even output for concerts, club, retail or hospitality environments. Powered by three 60W white LEDs, Q-Spot 560-LED easily cuts through other lighting and is capable of stunning projections due to its gobos and three-facet rotating prism. Q-Spot 560-LED includes eight colours plus white and two gobo wheels: one with six rotating slot-n-lock gobos and one with seven static gobos. The motorised iris, shutter / strobe and focus provide excellent light control, while the move-in-black feature allows for precise programming. Q-Spot 560-LED also has 13 or 17 channels of control and three-pin and fi ve-pin DMX connections. Additionally, its convenient built-in sound-activated and auto programs save time when programming.

CHROMATEQ | LPSA1024 www.chromateq.com

The latest version of the LED Player is the LPSA1024 and it includes 1,024 standalone channels (2 x 512 channels for two DMX universes) and scene triggers via DMX signal. It is compatible with MAC OS X, Windows (32 and 34 bits) and Linux systems. The DMX trigger capacity functions uniquely in standalone mode when using an exterior DMX signal. The second DMX line of the LPSA1024 interface can be confi gured as a DMX Input and receive a DMX signal from an external DMX system (traditional DMX desk or other). Scenes are therefore able to receive a DMX channel number and a DMX trigger value. When the interface receives the DMX trigger value the scene will start instantaneously. It is therefore possible to use the complete LPSA1024 memory capacity to add 512 DMX channels to an existing fi xed installation. It can also be confi gured under slave / master mode to be connected all together and fi t to larger installa- tion needs. It is possible to connect up to six slave interfaces to the master one, so on seven interfaces could be use for a total of 14 DMX universes (7,168 DMX channels). Users can easily set up the interface with the stand alone mode of the LED Player software. The latest fi rmware V.1.1.2.4 offers this master / slave feature in standalone mode.

DIGICO | SD5 www.digico.org

The SD5’s worksurface is a low noise, heat dissipation worksurface benefi ting from Hidden-til-lit (HTL) technology, yet its fi ve digitally driven full colour TFT LCD screens, three of which are touch sensitive, have a new confi guration that allows easy access to single or multiple users. There are also two interactive dynamic metering displays (IDM) and quick access buttons are positioned down the left side of the channel screens for fast and easy navigation. Incorporat- ing the master screen into the worksurface design has allowed for complete user feedback, but maintained a lower profi le meter bridge. This still allows clear visibility of those on stage for the user, with everything in close reach to the mix position. As standard, the SD5 comes with a 2Gb fi bre optic system, which is capable of running 448 channels of I/O at 96kHz, plus 56 console-to-console tie lines, allowing connection to up to 14 of the SD variant racks. There are three redundant MADI ports and local I/O includes eight microphone inputs, eight line outputs and eight AES I/O (mono). The SD5 has 124 input channels; 56 confi gurable busses, plus up to 5.1 master; a 24 x 24 fi xed matrix; DiGiTubes on every channel, buss and output; 24 assignable dynamic EQ; 24 multiband compressors; 24 stereo effects; 32 graphic EQ; 10 x 4 (40) RGB backlit macro buttons; plus the ability to add a Waves upgrade.
