152 GUIDE - AMPLIFIERS
FOHHN | D-4.1200
www.fohhn.com
The D-4.1200 is the latest addition to Fohhn Audio’s powerful DSP-controlled digital amplifier series. Weighing just 11kg, the 4-channel Class-D amplifier provides 4 x 1,200W power at four ohm loads. An integral 4-in-6 matrix enables each input channel to be independently routed to the four powered and two auxiliary outputs (the latter can also be used for controlling an additional standard amplifier). The amplifier generates minimal heat and is equipped with extremely quiet fans. Fohhn Mains Control constantly monitors the mains supply to the amplifier, interrupting it if the permitted range is exceeded. Automatically switching on at the mains voltage zero crossing minimises the input surge on power-up. The D-4.1200 features an integrated speaker database for all Fohhn loudspeaker types and two separate DSP engines - one for speaker control and the other for user control of the onboard audio tools that include 10-band parametric EQ, delay, dynamics, and crossover. Channels can be directly edited via the blue four-line front panel display. The amplifier can also be remotely controlled and networked using Fohhn Audio Soft software and a laptop. Designed for fixed installation and mobile use, the D-4.1200 suits a range of venues including concert halls, opera houses, theatres, and industrial settings.
FULL FAT AUDIO | 4004
www.fullfataudio.com
Full Fat Audio power amplifiers are designed and manufactured in Hertfordshire, England. Full Fat Audio specialise in developing Class-D amplifiers with very high power switch mode power supplies. These SMPS have been tried and tested for almost a decade. FFA two channel models are bass optimised and are specifically designed to drive two ohm loads even in the most demanding environments. Four channel models offer versatility and convenience in a compact form and are ideal for installation and or any temporary touring sound system that requires high power and high fidelity sound. Power specifications for 2-channel models range from 2 x 3,000W - 2 x 5,000W RMS at two ohm load and 4 x 1,000W - 4 x 1,500W at four ohm load for the 4-channel models. Full Fat Audio offer a five year manufacture warranty with all their products. FFA amplifiers can be found installed in world renowned night club venues and powering stages at many European summer festivals.
GEMINI | XGA

Gemini’s XGA amplifiers provide XLR, 0.25-inch and RCA balanced inputs, along with speakon outputs. For seamless reliability, they offer front-to-rear airflow and variable-speed cooling fans, along with a limiter circuit switch, DC output protection and short circuit protection. All XGA amps feature a frequency response of 10Hz - 50kHz at 1.5dB, as well as the following dimensions: 19-inch x 13.8-inch x 3.5inch (482mm x 350mm x 88mm).
HOELLSTERN | DELTA 12.2 & DELTA 12.2-DSP
www.hoellstern.com
Hoellstern has introduced two new 2-channel amplifiers, DELTA 12.2 and DELTA12.2-DSP. Their output power is 2 x 2.2kW into eight ohms, 2 x 4.4kW into four ohms and up to 2 x 8kW into two ohms with a peak current of 2 x 125A. The amplifiers weigh 10kg in a 2RU enclosure of 30cm depth. Because of their high efficiency, a 16A mains connection is sufficient. In practice the relatively small no-load current and the high efficiency will result in lower mains requirements and reduced energy needs. Like with all Hoellstern amplifiers the sound properties are on a high level. Due to the modest fan noises they can also be used at industrial events.
