160 GUIDE - AMPLIFIERS
SAE | PCM SERIES
www.saeaudio.com
The PCM Series, is the latest generation of amplifiers by SAE. The highest power model is able to deliver 2 x 3,200W into four ohms. High efficiency, high output power and with excellent sound quality ensure very high-performance in the whole audio range. The application of new generation Class I topology of the amplification circuit remains pure analogue amplification feature, meanwhile with high efficiency as Class D. It has applied the third generation regulated SMPS, is able to remain stable and high power output even if the AC voltage fluctu- ated. Differential transmission was applied between pre-amp and output-stage ensures very low noise of the power amplifiers. The amplifier and power supply modules have adopted AI craftwork make the power amplifiers with high reliability and enable to be used at harsh environment. The power transistors were fixed directly on the heat-sink improves the cooling system. Meanwhile, we have selected to use high quality components, and try to reduce the connection cables and connectors between different modules, all these seem minor design have greatly ensured more stable and reliable of this new generation power amplifier.
TOA | DA SERIES

The DA series from TOA provide a range of durable, reliable and highly efficient digital amplifiers. The DA-250DH is a 2-channel digital power amplifier which falls under the DA series bracket, the amplifier is designed for 100V line high-impedance distribution and features lightweight, compact, high power output, and high efficiency. The DA-250DH dual-channel powered digital amplifier offers a wide choice of power ratings, advanced Class-D amplification circuitry, along with a highly efficient AC mains to output power ratio for the complete technological superiority needed to support long-term installation applications. This energy-efficient, space-saving amplifier is designed to combine high levels of performance and efficiency, whilst being well-suited to ensure sound reinforcement reliability in a wide range of venue types such as exhibition halls, sports facilities and multipurpose halls.
WORK | ZENITH 6000

Zenith 6000 is new model on the Zenith series range being the one that offers more power with ranges that reach up to 6,000W @ four ohms bridged. The seamless construction of the electronics where It has taken care of every detail and with its low weight (only 14.6kg) is especially suitable for touring applications. The Zenith 6000 features switching power supply stabilised by microcontroller allowing continu- ous power up to 8kW. Its design of power supply capacitors for high ripple current capacity improves performance at low frequencies. The optimum performance level is at two ohms load. The Zenith 6000 has protection against short circuits at the output, over temperature, DC and very high frequency signal even in continuous operation.
YAMAHA | TXN SERIES
www.yamahaproaudio.com
The TXn series is the company’s most sophisticated amplifier range, each of the three models incorporating a 24 bit ADDA 96kHz DSP engine. The TXn series comprises the Tx4n, Tx5n and Tx6n. All are high output, compact 2U rackmount units which stably drive load impedances as low as two ohms, making them ideal for touring and festival systems. In addition to basic amplifier control and status monitoring, each features enough DSP power to provide extensive speaker processing capabilities, making external processors unneces- sary in most applications. DSP functions can be accessed via the front panel interface or via software running on a computer connected via Ethernet. Each model also features a Yamaha mini-YGDAI standard card slot that comes fitted with an AES / EBU I/O card for digital input and throughput, with balanced analogue inputs and throughputs also installed on the amplifier’s rear panel. The analogue and digital inputs can be used independently, or signals can be input to both and mixed or switched automatically. Of course, the AES / EBU I/O card can be replaced with compatible Yamaha mini-YGDAI cards to provide other input / output formats, or that allow full compatibility with a range of different audio networks.
