Electro Voice launched the ZXA1-Sub earlier this year - the matching subwoofer for its best-selling ZXA1 compact self-powered loudspeaker - and it was on display again at the show. It also presented the new EVU ultra compact member of the EV-Innovation family of installation-dedicated loudspeakers. UK loudspeaker manufacturer EM Acoustics celebrated its 10th anniversary in style with the launch of thirteen new products across four different ranges. The company expanded its MSE Series with no less than five new products, includ- ing two self-powered versions. EM Acoustics introduced three new products to complement the existing X3 and two new more products for the EMS Series. And brand new to EM Acoustics this year are the AD and AQ Series of professional power amplifiers designed and manufactured in the UK by MC2 Audio. The new Source Four LED fixture was the star of ETC’s stand this year. The Source Four LED is specifically designed to work alongside incandescent and many other light sources. FBT announced the new Installed Sound Division, which consists of the Vertus digital steerable loudspeaker arrays, Archon permanent installation loudspeaker series, Shadow all-weather loudspeaker series and MAD4IP multimedia automatic distribution over IP systems. During the show FBT launched the new Archon permanent installation speakers, two new additions to the Mitus speaker family, the Mitus 215a and Mitus 152a, the new StageMaxX stage monitor, and the new Verve Series. Fohhn Audio AG previewed the latest additions to its range of compact line array systems. Taking centre stage was the German loudspeaker manufacturer’s new PT-6 plug ‘n’ play compact line array and the Linea Focus Modular, the latest addi- tion to Fohhn’s flagship electronically steerable Linea Focus Series. The F1201 is the newest addition to Funktion-One’s compact loudspeaker range positioned between the F101 and innovative Resolution 1, this was on show for visitors. This enclosure brings Funktion One’s low-distortion approach to driver design and crossover point optimisation to the 12-inch and 1-inch format. In con- trast to the usual harshness of this driver combination, the F1201 offers clarity and definition with robust bass for involving musical experiences.
