150 GUIDE - AMPLIFIERS

D&B AUDIOTECHNIK | D6 AND D12 www.dbaudio.com

All d&b audiotechnik loudspeaker systems are driven by the D6 and D12 dual channel amplifiers that provide two different power ranges, incorporate d&b audiotechnik loudspeaker specific setup information, and have analog and digital signal inputs and links. These devices utilise digital signal processing and include switchable functions for precisely tailoring system response for a wide variety of applications. Both channels of the amplifiers incorporate user definable 4-band parametric equalisers, have delay capabilities of up to 340 msec and a signal generator offering pink noise or sine wave program for test and alignment purposes reducing the need of external processing devices. The D12 amplifier additionally offers a 2-way active mode and a mixed TOP / SUB output configuration, output connector options as well as d&b audiotechnik SenseDrive for accurate control of the driver membranes in d&b audiotechnik subwoofers, resulting in an extremely precise low frequency performance. Both amplifiers have d&b audiotechnik Remote network interfaces enabling control and monitoring of a large number of system functions and extensive system integration capabilities all from a virtual centre within a complete application. d&b audiotechnik load monitoring and system check are also incorporated to remotely monitor loudspeaker driver status. The D6 and D12 amplifier’s dimensions are 2 RU / 3 RU x 19-inch x 353 mm and weigh 8 / 13kg respectively.

DAP AUDIO | STAGE-AMP SERIES www.dap-audio.info

The DAP Audio Stage-AMP amplifiers combine the sound quality and bass-pressure of a traditional amplifier with the weight of a lightweight amplifier. The DAP Stage-AMP amplifiers are both suitable for mobile use as well for foxed installations. The oversized power supply en- sures also a lot of spare power, which beat the traditional amplifiers with heavy transformers and a lot of power capacitors. Special attention is given at the several protection circuits, like the unique soft clipping and limiter circuits

DAS | D-SERIES www.dasaudio.com

D.A.S. Audio has introduced a new range of amplifiers, the D-Series, comprising the D-10, D-20 and the D-100. The D-10 amplifier uses a modern Class AB bipolar design delivering the cleanest sound available coupled with ultra-high standards of reliability. It is capable of handling two ohm loads. The D-20 amplifier offers greater output power than the D-10, it is capable of 2 x 2,100W at two ohms. The D-20’s sophisticated side chain limiters prevent distortion and speaker damage but are out-of-circuit until the onset of clipping. The control circuitry provides full protection against inrush current limiting with delayed turn-on. The D-100 is a lightweight, high-power switch mode amplifier designed to the highest standards of reliability and sound quality. The switch mode power supply is capable of delivering high peaks with very low distortion, and is kept within its safe operating area by a sophisticated intelligent limiter. The D-100 will run cool even in the most challenging conditions, delivering 2,800W at four ohms with all channels driven and an impressive 2 x 7,400W at four ohms in bridge mode.

DBTECHNOLOGIES | HPA 3100L www.dbtechnologies.com

dBTechnologies’ HPA series power amps deliver high performance and quality at an astonishingly affordable price. The flagship of the range is the HPA 3100L and features Class-(HD) technology and weighs just 14kg with the ability to deliver up to 3,400W / RMS output. De- signed for professional use in touring racks as well as for fixed installation, it comes with a PFC switched-mode power supply. Engineered for utmost ease of use, these amps offer connection options - XLR inputs for patching in signals as well as speakon ports for connecting speaker systems. What’s more, their extensive protective circuits ensure reliable, safe operation.
