CARNIVALS AND CULTURE

Away from the vibrant streets of bustling Rio and the iconic image of Christ the Redeemer, Brazil enjoys the benefi ts of an astonishing 7,500 km of coastline and the largest rainforest in the world.

RIO SIGHTSEEING Brazil’s most famous landmarks offer stunning views of the city, its bays and beaches. The statue of Christ, reached by train, has dominated the skyline since 1931, while Sugar Loaf Mountain is almost 400m high and is reached by taking 2 cable car rides.

IGUASSU FALLS Set against a backdrop of exuberant rainforest and clouds of soaking mist, the falls on the Brazilian side present visitors with more of a grand overview than their Argentine neighbours. You reach this side of the falls by following the winding jungle trails to the base of the thundering cascades of the Devil’s Throat.

SALVADOR DE BAHIA Vibrant and colourful, Bahia is a real feast for the senses.
