DAYS 6/7 – Khajuraho Explore the spectacular Fort Palace at Orchha before continuing to the temple city of Khajuraho for 2 nights at the Hotel Chandela. Explore the historic temples noted for their masterful carvings and erotic imagery.

TADOBA-ANDHARI TIGER RESERVE Often described as ‘The Jewel of Vidharba’, the oldest and largest national park in Maharashtra was declared a ‘Project Tiger Reserve’ in 1993. Its thick teak forests provide a rich refuge for wild dog, hyena, leopard and, of course, tigers, whilst its lake provides an ideal habitat for mugger crocodiles.


KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK A World Heritage Site and right on the river, Kaziranga National Park is a magnifi cent expanse of swamps and grasslands that boast an astonishing diversity of animal and birdlife, including Indian one-horned rhino, elephant and a collection of birds of prey. Kaziranga can be visited as part of a Brahmaputra cruise itinerary or pre-cruise with a 2-night stay at Diphlu River Lodge.
