Beyond the trekking trails of the Himalayas, the national parks at Chitwan and Bardia offer sanctuary to a mix of wildlife, including Asian elephant, tiger and rare one-horned rhino.
CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK Chitwan lies in Nepal’s subtropical lowlands, in an area of alluvial fl ood plains and sal forest. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the park boasts a range of fl ora and fauna. From elephant back you may spot the one-horned rhino and the rare Bengal Tiger. Chitwan is reached by road or air from Kathmandu or Pokhara.
BARDIA NATIONAL PARK
The park is home to a rich diversity of ecosystems, providing a haven for one-horned rhino, wild Asian elephant, river dolphins and Bengal tiger.

DAYS 3/4 – Dhulikhel Mountain Resort Visit Bhadgaon City en route to Dhulikhel for 2 nights at the Dhulikhel Mountain Resort. Excursion to Namobuddha.
DAYS 5 to 7 – Chitwan National Park
Drive to Chitwan National park for 2 full days of game viewing. DAYS 8/9 – Bandipur
Day rafting on the Seti river before driving to the trading town of Bandipur for 2 nights at the Gaun Ghar.

DAYS 10 to 13 – Pokhara & Trekking Travel to Pokhara and enjoy a boat ride on Phewa Lake. 3 days easy and fully portered trekking in the Annapurna foothills, staying at lodges en route.
DAYS 14/15 – Kathmandu Fly back to Kathmandu. Visit Swayambhunath and enjoy a short Rickshaw ride through back street of Kathmandu. Half-day tour of Pashupatinath and Bodhnath. Farewell dinner.
DAYS 16/17 – Fly to UK Return to UK.
