DAY 1 – Fly to Cairo Fly with EgyptAir to Cairo, 3 nights at the Sofi tel El Gezirah


DAYS 2/3 – Cairo Visit the Museum of Antiquities and the Pyramids at Giza, also discover the lesser know sites of Dahshur home to at least eleven pyramids and the Meidum Pyramid which is located on the edge of the Western Desert.


DAYS 4/5 – Luxor Fly to Luxor, board the Movenpick Royal Lily. Discover the temple complex of Amon-Ra at Karnak and Luxor Temple before crossing to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings and Queens. Sail to Edfu.


DAY 6 – Kom Ombo


Sail to Kom Ombo and visit the riverside temple, dedicated to two gods, Sobek, the crocodile god and Horus. Continue onto Aswan.


DAY 7 – Aswan Visit the High Dam, Old Dam, The Unfi nished Obelisk and the beautiful Philae Temple. Afternoon sail by traditional felucca.


DAYS 8/9 – Aswan


Disembark and check into the Movenpick Aswan. Enjoy the rarely-visited Temple of Kalabsha and a sound and light show at Philae Temple.

DAY 10 – Fly to UK Fly with EgyptAir to Heathrow, via Cairo.

One of the holiest cities in ancient Egypt, Abydos was long revered as the city of Osiris. An important religious centre, its connection with the Egyptian god of the underworld saw it attract pilgrims from all over Egypt and this vast site is home to a number of temples, cenotaphs and tombs.


QENA & DENDERAH A famous Sufi pilgrimage site, Qena once lay at the heart of the ancient trade routes between Upper Egypt and the Red Sea. Close by, the ruins of Denderah and the Temple of Hathor provide visitors with one of the best-preserved sites in Egypt.

DAYS 3/4 – Luxor Fly to Luxor and board your Presidential Nile Cruise boat. Visit Luxor’s East Bank, taking time to explore the magnifi cent Luxor Temple before continuing onto Karnak Temple. Sail to Edfu.


DAY 5 – Kom Ombo


Sail for Kom Ombo to visit the unique Ptolemaic temple lying besides the Nile, dedicated to the two gods, Sobek and Horus. Later continue to Aswan. Overnight in Aswan.


DAY 6 – Aswan Visit the High Dam before continuing to the beautiful Temple of Philae. Afternoon take a traditional felucca ride on the Nile.


DAY 7 – Edfu Sail to Edfu, en route there is an opportunity to revisit Kom Ombo.


DAYS 8/9 – Luxor Sail leisurely towards Luxor through Esna lock, overnight Luxor. On day 9 explore the West Bank and enter the atmospheric setting of the Valley of the Kings. Visits to the Necropolis of Thebes, Queen Hatshepsut temple and the Colossi of Memnon are also included.


DAY 10 – Fly to the UK Disembark and fl y directly with EgyptAir to Heathrow.
