DAY 1 – Fly to Cairo Fly on EgyptAir to Cairo. 3 nights at Villa Belle Epoque.
DAYS 2/3 – Cairo Visit the magnifi cent Museum of Antiquities which affords the opportunity to gaze upon the treasures of Tutankhamun. There is also an excursion to the Pyramids and the Sphinx at Giza, including the Solar Boat Museum.
DAY 4 – Luxor The Temple of Rameses II, Abu Simbel The Temple of Isis Lake Nasser
Fly to Luxor to embark on the Tu-Ya. This afternoon explore the magnifi cent remains of the XVIIIth Dynasty temples of Luxor and Karnak. Luxor Temple was built over 4000 years ago, and represents the epoch of the once mighty city of Thebes. Karnak Temple has its immense Hypostyle Hall which contains the phenomenal sight of 134 towering columns of intricate stonework.
DAY 5 – Luxor There is the option of rising at dawn to take a hot air balloon fl ight over Luxor. This morning cross over to the West Bank to visit the tombs of the Pharaohs, the Valley of the Kings. Continue to the Temple of Medinet Habu and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut before concluding with the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the boat and sail to Edfu.
DAY 6 – Edfu Today continue to Kom Ombo where you will visit the riverside temple, dedicated to the two gods, Sobek, the crocodile god and Horus, god of the morning sun. Continue sailing to Aswan where you will moor overnight.
ASWAN & ABU SIMBEL
The gateway to Upper Egypt, Aswan lies at the northern extremity of Lake Nasser, the vast ‘Nubian Sea’ created by the construction of the High Dam.

Aswan is an eclectic mix of Arabic, Coptic and Nubian infl uences which has left it with a unique and vibrant culture that sits perfectly with some of antiquity’s most impressive monuments. Egypt’s most southerly city marks the ancient limits of Pharaonic power where Egypt and Africa meet with vibrant colour and fl air.
TEMPLE OF PHILAE The Temple of Isis sits majestically on the beautiful island setting of Philae, and is without doubt one of Egypt’s most enchanting ancient sites. Dedicated to the cult of the consort of the God Osiris, the temple rose to prominence during the Ptolemaic period.

DAY 7 – Aswan Visit the High Dam, Old Dam, The Unfi nished Obelisk and the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser when the dam was constructed. Afternoon sail on a Felucca around Kitchener Island.
DAY 8 - Lake Nasser Transfer to Lake Nasser and embark on the M.S. Eugenie. A cruise on Lake Nasser differs from a Nile river cruise in several ways. Bereft of towns and villages, the tranquillity and serenity of its remarkable desert setting is simply breathtaking, the ever-changing colours of the landscape a constant delight. Begin exploring the remarkable desert landscapes of Lake Nasser, visiting the Greco-Roman Kalabsha Temple, as well as the Temple of Beit el-Wali.
DAYS 9/10 - Lake Nasser
During your Lake Nasser cruise you have time to relax and watch the river banks drift slowly past. There are visits to Wadi El Seboua Temple, as well as the relocated temples of Meharakka, Dakka and Amada, the lake’s oldest monuments. To conclude we end on a highlight, the magnifi cent rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel.
DAY 11- Cairo Fly via Aswan to Cairo, overnight at Radisson Blu Hotel.
