DAY 1 – Fly to Bangkok Thai Airways fl ight from Heathrow to Bangkok.
DAY 2 – Bangkok Arriving into the Thai capital transfer to The LIT Bangkok for 3 nights.
DAY 3 – Bangkok Morning city tour to take in Bangkok’s Grand Palace and the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple. Afternoon at leisure.
Chiang Mai
DAY 4 – Bangkok Full day at leisure to explore this vibrant city. There are a huge range of optional excursions on offer. Explore some of the waterways of Bangkok by long tail speedboat or drive to the ancient city of Ayutthaya to visit the atmospheric ruins. Enjoy an excursion to the colourful fl oating market at Damnoen Saduak or to the infamous bridge on the River Kwai. Take part in a cookery course to explain the intricate nature of Thai cuisine or enjoy a traditional Thai massage.
DAY 5 – Chiang Mai Fly to the northern city of Chiang Mai for 2 nights at the Puripunn Baby Grand Boutique Hotel. Afternoon tour visiting Doi Suthep temple.
DAY 6 – Chiang Mai A day at leisure with optional activities including a visit to an elephant training camp or orchid farm. Explore some of rural Chiang Mai at Mae Kampong – including stopping to buy ingredients for dinner prepared in a village home.
DAY 7 – Chiang Rai Drive to the ‘Golden Triangle’ for 3 nights at The Legend Chiang Rai.

BANGKOK Thailand’s bustling capital lies beside the waters of the Chao Phraya River. CHIANG MAI
Ideally placed for exploring the jungles and the hill tribes of the north, Chiang Mai lies along the Ping River surrounded by verdant hills. The city contains over 300 temples including the majestic setting of Doi Suthep .
CHIANG RAI In Thailand’s far north provinces, Chiang Rai lies along the Mae Kok River, within the boundaries of the infamous Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar converge. Home to a number of ethnic villages, it is a fascinating region to discover Thailand’s diverse traditions.
Krabi
BEACHES OF THAILAND EXTENSION From the Andaman Sea to the Gulf of Thailand, these tropical havens are amongst the fi nest beaches in the world. Served by some of the best resorts in Asia, the golden sands of Koh Samui, Krabi, Koh Lanta and the royal favourite Hua Hin offer a choice of idyllic getaways. DAY 8 – Chiang Rai In the morning visit a hill top viewpoint, above the junction of the Mekong and Ruak Rivers, which forms a three-way border with Laos, Burma and Thailand. Continue to Mae Sai, the northernmost point of Thailand, to observe border life and explore the market for exotic goods. The afternoon is at leisure.
DAY 9 – Chiang Rai A full day at leisure with the choice from a wealth of suggested optional excursions. Drive to the Mae Kok River and take a boat ride to a traditional Karen hill tribe village or visit the famous long neck women and colourful hill tribe villages famous also for their jewellery and weaving skills.
DAY 10 – Fly to the UK
Fly with Thai Airways via Bangkok to Heathrow. DEPARTURES DAILY
