FdSc Addictions Counselling (B940) Action on Addiction, Warminster
This programme aims to meet the increased demand for capable practitioners in the field of Addictions Counselling. It integrates humanistic, cognitive-behavioural, motivational and twelve-step models and aims to enable students to become skilled reflective and competent counsellors.
FdSc Applied Computing (G402) Weston College • Wiltshire College
This programme aims to prepare students for a variety of careers across the IT industry, through the provision of specialised options. It equips students with practical and professional abilities in specific areas, as well as providing a broad range of analysis, design and implementation skills.
FdA Creative Digital Media* (W212) Wiltshire College
This programme aims to teach a broad range of core skills and knowledge for creative digital media, applicable across a wide range of disciplines. In addition to the core teaching, students may specialise in either Moving Image Production or Multimedia Production.

This programme is suitable for Teaching Assistants in the Foundation Stage and for those working with children aged 0-5. It integrates Early Years theory and practice to enable students to deepen their understanding of and develop expertise in Early Years care and education.

This programme is suitable for students interested in training for careers in manufacturing engineering and technologies. Through work-based learning and simulation, you will explore a range of topics including Automation, PLCs, Robotics, Quality Improvement, and 21st Century Manufacturing.
FdSc Funeral Services (L900) Centre for Death and Society, University of Bath
This programme provides an additional level of training and knowledge acquisition for those working within the funeral service industry who may already have achieved the ‘Gold Standard’ qualification, the Diploma in Funeral Directing, and who wish to pursue further academic study.
FdSc Motorsport Engineering (H334) Wiltshire College
This programme is suitable for students who are interested in competition vehicle design, construction and preparation. Students study all aspects of race car design and manufacture and apply this knowledge through work-based learning and competition projects.
FdSc Sport (Coaching) (CX61) City of Bath College • Weston College
This programme provides students with a thorough understanding of the key components of coaching practice and process. Students will enhance their learning throughout the programme through practical work placements and optional additional coaching qualifications.
FdSc Sport (Sports Therapy) (CB69) Swindon College
Accredited by the Society of Sports Therapists, this programme teaches anatomy, physiology and lifestyle management. Students develop essential observational, evaluative and analytical skills in determining treatment and rehabilitation regimes to help injured clients return to their sport.
FdSc Sport (Health & Fitness) (C600) City of Bath College • Weymouth College
This programme provides students with a sound understanding of key concepts of health and fitness, necessary for a career in this industry: including lifestyles, attitudes to exercise, promotion of healthy living, principles of fitness and training, and industry specific management skills.

Entry qualifications
Applications are welcomed from candidates:
n with a level 3 qualification such as a National Award/Certificate/Diploma, Advanced Diploma, GCE A level, Access to Higher Education Course, or a work-based qualification such as NVQ 3 or Advanced Apprenticeship. Where these qualifications are recognised on the UCAS tariff, candidates should normally have achieved a minimum tariff of 120 points. Tariff points may vary between programmes. n without formal qualifications but who have a minimum of two years relevant work experience and are able to demonstrate that they have developed the necessary skills to succeed on the course. An accreditation process needs to be completed on an individual basis.
All applicants will normally also require at least 4 GCSE passes (at grade C or above), including Maths and English or their level 2 equivalents.
Applications may be subject to completion of a successful interview. Some programmes may require you to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.
