Why study Childhood, Youth & Education Studies at Bath?

The BA in Childhood, Youth & Education Studies is a social science degree that bridges the disciplines of psychology and education. It explores how young children and adolescents learn and develop in contemporary British society and across the world.

The programme involves:

n studying childhood, youth and education from psychological, sociological and philosophical perspectives

n learning about what it means to grow up in today’s globalised world

n learning about the law and policy relating to young people and society’s responses to the challenges young people face.

You can download a leaflet with information about the programme from our website: www.bath.ac.uk/education/undergraduate/childyouth
