its excellent reputation in Mathematics. When I arrived I was not disappointed and I had a choice among a wide range of interesting courses. Mostly, I was impressed by the personalised tutor system that not only offers support if you have problems but also if you are looking for an extra challenge. Bath is a great place to live in and the University provides a vast variety of non-academic activities. I joined the Latin and Ballroom dance club and went to university competitions all over the country. After really enjoying my degree, I decided to stay on for my PhD.

For applicants taking AS Further maths: A* in Maths, A in AS Further Maths plus two other A levels at grade A.
We may relax the grade A in a non- mathematical A level to B if at least a 2 in STEP or a Merit in AEA Maths is obtained.
For applicants taking single maths: A* in Maths, plus two other A levels at grades A* and A plus at least a 2 in STEP or a Merit in AEA Maths. We prefer a second scientific or quantitative subject.
