Chemical Engineering is an applied discipline and there are several reasons for taking advantage of a full year of industrial placement:
n over 70% of our students elect to spend a year in industry during their penultimate year
n salary typically between £14-23k
n our Placements Team removes much of the administrative work of finding a placement.

A Levels: MEng: AAB including Mathematics and Chemistry.
BEng: ABB Mathematics and Chemistry are required at A2 with a grade A in one of these subjects.
International Baccalaureate: MEng: 36 points (including bonus points) overall, including scores of 6 in both Mathematics and Chemistry at the Higher Level.
