The science tradition is very strong at the University of Bath and Natural Sciences draws widely on the expertise of staff from departments across the Faculty of Science.

Natural Sciences offers you a unique blend of subjects, with a broadly-based first year but greater specialisation in later years. Natural Sciences not only allows you to play to your strengths and interests in core sciences, but also to take new subjects, such as management or psychology, which you may not have considered before.

Added flexibility is given by the ability to transfer between three and four year degree programmes and an exciting new undergraduate Masters degree. Students also have the opportunity to be considered for transfer to one of the single honours degree programmes in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.

The optional integrated placement programme gives you the opportunity not only to pick up new skills and valuable experience, but also to apply your academic knowledge in a real world situation.

If you wish to experience a different culture from your own, and gain a new perspective on academic life in an international setting, there is the study year abroad option.
