The majority of graduates from this programme choose careers in education, sports development and the sports industry. Many careers are related to one of the programmes’s four main strands: Sport Management, Coaching, Physical Education, Sports Psychology. A number choose to continue their studies at PGCE Level, and at Masters and PhD level. A smaller proportion of graduates choose to continue with high performance sport and commence full-time training and competition.

BTEC National Diploma: Related discipline with a Distinction profile (DDD) and distinctions in all units.
Essential level 2 requirement: In addition to the above, we would normally look for five grade A* - C passes at GCSE, (or equivalent Level 2 qualification) including English & Maths.
Access to HE Diploma: Pass the Access to HE Diploma with at least 12 credits at Distinction and 21 at Merit. Level 2 units must include a Pass at GCSE equivalent Mathematics and English. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a high academic standard and may be asked to submit one piece of marked coursework for consideration.
