Placements

Placements in industry are available for all of our degree programmes. The excellent employment rate of our students is due in no small measure to the hands-on experience and skills they acquire from their placement. The Department has close contacts with a large number of companies that can provide the high standard of training we expect during a placement year. Examples include: Airbus, ARM, Augusta Westland, BAE Systems, Hewlett Packard, Intel, Motorola, National Grid, OCRobotics, Orange, Rolls Royce and Avensis. We have a dedicated Faculty Placements Office available to help students find placements that fit their requirements.

fantastic time. The course that I chose was perfect for me and I enjoyed all of the modules that I took. These covered a wide range of subjects, including accounting, computer science, business and mathematics, while still providing a very deep engineering education. My time at Bath was by no means all about study and I joined several clubs and societies including tennis, squash and water polo. I was also a member of the electrical engineers society, which provided much needed entertainment and relaxation after a big project or exam period!
