Programme details


This programme will further the knowledge, skills and abilities of sports rehabilitators, sport therapists, physiotherapists and other allied health professionals currently working in the area of sports injury rehabilitation and prevention. It has been developed to cover National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) competencies.


This is one of only two postgraduate programmes in Europe in strength and conditioning to receive international recognition through the NSCA Education Recognition Program (ERP). Compared with other programmes, this Masters has a strong practice element, which means you will get to develop the skills you need to operate at top-level.

Year 2: • Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation in Sport (30 credits)

The theoretical content of this programme is delivered online so you won’t have to attend university every week. You’ll be able to apply all this to your job and use case studies from your current area of practice. Our staff are experts in the field of strength and conditioning and regularly work in partnership with professional sports teams and individual athletes.
