This programme provides you with an exciting opportunity to be involved in one of the world’s most productive and complex industries. Tourism is the ‘umbrella’ for a wide range of operations – including attractions, hospitality, transport, distribution, and increasingly events – and cross-cuts the public, private and voluntary sectors. Increasingly tourism managers must be aware of the environmental and social responsibilities they have in providing their products and services and this is a key aspect of the programme.


You will engage in a systematic approach to the study of tourism management, reflecting the dynamic and multifaceted nature of the industry. By using a variety of teaching, learning and assessment methods, the programme team will help you develop the academic and vocational skills required for a successful management career within the tourism industry.

Islamic Banking and Finance MSc (one year full-time or three years part-time)


Programme details


Recognising the fact that Islamic financial institutions must conform to ‘conventional’ regulations, you will study a mix of subjects relating to the corporate and investment banking sectors. As well as specific modules that examine the application of Islamic Law to the development of permissible financial products and services.
