Programme details
The underlying aim of this programme is to offer students who already have an animation background an opportunity to develop high-level knowledge, skills and understanding in animation production and technologies. It will give you the opportunity to develop skills, a creative understanding of animation production and a critical understanding of 3D animation systems and technologies available.

Graduates and professionals with experience of animation practices who wish to gain a deeper understanding of the available technologies, and the production process.

As the programme is based within MediaCityUK there will be opportunities for work placements with companies based in the vicinity. The programme has strong ties with local and nationally-based animation companies looking for animators and 3D artists.
Critical Musicology MA (one year full-time or two years part-time)

Programme details
This programme contains a number of innovative modules that enable you to gain an understanding of the latest trends and perspectives in musicology. For example, an interdisciplinary studies module examines music and its relationship to film, literature and architecture, whereas the case studies module encourages you to engage with the published work of visiting speakers and researchers working within the University of Salford’s Music Research Institute.

Suitable for Any students with a grounding in music theory interested in (but not limited to) classical music, popular music, jazz, culture, society, theory, and history (among others).
