This programme provides strong training in many issues at the forefront of biotechnology. It integrates bioscience, biochemistry and biomedical science. Appropriately for this growing area, entrepreneurial skills and entrepreneurship are also developed in this programme, providing a unique approach to biotechnology.
This programme has a good balance of biology, biochemistry, biophysics and analytical chemistry and covers areas such as natural products, bioinformatics, biosensors, microbiology and aspects of drug design and manufacture. Programme details
This programme enables students to develop the knowledge and skills necessary in modern Environmental Public Health (EPH) practice. It is delivered by a team with extensive experience in teaching, research, and practice in this field, and a distinguishing feature of this programme is applied learning with input from visiting practitioners.
The MSc programme is completed by a dissertation. In the case of part-time students, the dissertation is usually based in the workplace.
