Living on campus As a postgraduate student you are guaranteed University or University partner accommodation for your first year and usually the duration of your programme, if you choose Castle Irwell or Matthias Court. The online accommodation form should be submitted by 1 September 2011 and you will receive an offer of accommodation as soon as you accept an unconditional offer of study.


We have more than 3,000 bedrooms available all within walking distance of the main campuses, providing a choice of self-catered accommodation.


Prices start from £59 per week*, you’ll need to pay an initial deposit and the rest can be paid in instalments.

Living off campus Not all postgraduate students wish to live in University accommodation. Manchester has one of the largest student populations in Europe – so you won’t be short of places to rent if you decide not to live in our University accommodation.


It couldn’t be easier to get to us by bus or train from popular areas across Manchester and Salford. All areas are connected to Manchester city centre by one of the busiest bus routes in Europe and from there it’s just a quick bus or train ride onto campus.
