MAKING CONNECTIONS WITH NEWSMIND INSIGHT

Convit BY KEVIN EMMOTT

Combining strategy and analysis with content production, media software specialist Convit is launching its Newsmind Insight feature.

Aiming to transform the way media companies handle data and engage with their audiences, Newsmind Insight software harnesses cross-media data from a variety of sources, including TV, radio and social media. It collates both structured and unstructured data to make all information easily available for content teams to assess and manage,

with the goal of giving media organisations a more holistic view of their performance and audience behaviour, as well as to recognise trends earlier. Newsmind Insight is designed to work with Convit’s existing Newsmind Stories planning and publishing system to effi ciently manage and analyse data across multiple platforms. Understanding that each media company has unique requirements, Newsmind Insight features are completely confi gurable to each organisation, and the company is encouraging potential users to discuss their specifi c needs at the Hall 7 stand. 7.D01

ROBOTICS SYSTEM GOES INTO ORBIT

Shotoku Broadcast Systems

BY DAVID FOX

Shotoku’s TR-XT studio robotics control system has been updated to meet the challenges of 24/7 live production while preparing for emerging technology advances.

The latest version builds on the

resilience of previous systems, eliminating single failure points and preserving all its redundancy, but now offers more functionality and a substantial UI refresh. It runs under Windows 11 with a fully distributed front- end/back-end architecture and support for virtualised remote databases. The system

To keep the system as autonomous as possible, AutoFrame provides real-time face tracking and shot recall, but also allows for instantaneous human intervention, eliminating the need for dedicated
