Brightcove has introduced several products to its platform, including Cloud Playout 2.0, which aims to ease the process of building and distributing linear channels for media companies, to support with reach,
engagement and monetisation. There are new software development kits for Roku, Samsung and LG devices, with new features including content protection, monetisation and
analytics reporting capabilities, as well as Publisher Insights, an analytics product for news organisations and media publishers. Also new, Brightcove Expert Bot is an AWS-powered generative AI customer service chatbot, while Audience Insights is a data- powered product designed to increase audience lifetime value. Also on show is Monetisation, described as a “revenue- maximising service that aims to drive ad yields and unlock new revenue opportunities”. 5.A90
TOP TOOLS FOR THE EOS C400 Vocas BY DAVID FOX
New from Vocas is a range of accessories designed specifi cally for Canon’s newly released 6K full-frame cinema camera, the EOS C400. It includes a top plate and a support for Vocas PL and LPL to RF adapters. Weighing 85g, the Vocas Top cheese plate for the C400 is a two-piece unit that wraps around the top handgrip that comes with the camera. It has multiple screw threads to mount various camera accessories and includes a bubble level. The Vocas PL and LPL adapters support for the Canon C400 attaches directly to the top cheese plate and provides fi rm support for a Vocas Canon R-mount to LPL adapter or Vocas Canon R-mount to PL adapter.

Also available are compatible rail holders for 19mm and 15mm rods that attach a single rail on top of the camera for use with lens motors. Combining a single microphone and headphone input with a full feature set, the new AVN-CU1 from Sonifex is a versatile fi xed format commentary unit which extends the company’s range of Dante commentary units. Aiming to enhance a
broadcaster’s commentary setup, the AVN-CU1 includes a dual headphone and selectable phantom power microphone input for a single commentator position. The headphone amplifi er has fi ve inputs: three talkback channels, programme and sidetone, each with an individual potentiometer for level control. Audio output routing
The AVN-CU1’s downlighting feature can be used for unit status or decorative purposes
is managed by illuminated pushbuttons, and the unit boasts an OLED display for easy setup and confi guration. An LED bar graph for daylight metering is source selectable.
