Eastman, Kolmar Korea sign personal care ingredient MoU
Eastman and Kolmar Korea have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at accelerating the development of innovative, biodegradable and high-performing personal care ingredients. The collaboration will focus on
expanding access to Eastman’s Esmeri technology, which includes Esmeri CC1N10, an advanced cellulose ester micropowder for colour cosmetics. “Esmeri is a key solution to
challenges that brands face today in meeting regulatory requirements and rising consumer demands for innovative products that continue to deliver exceptional performance,” said Travis Smith, executive vice president at Eastman.
Givaudan grows Brenntag deal in southeast Asia
Givaudan has expanded a southeast Asia distribution deal with Brenntag for active cosmetic ingredients in the beauty and personal care markets. Building on the initial
coverage in Thailand, the existing distribution agreement now includes Malaysia and Singapore. Brenntag will work closely
with customers to meet growing demand for high-quality, efficacious, and sustainable beauty and personal care solutions. Supported by Brenntag’s
regional Innovation and Application Centres, customers will have access to technical expertise, formulation support, and market insights that help drive the development of differentiated, high-performing products.
